No affiliation here other than as a customer – but wanted to say I am very happy with Rackspace ‘cloud’ email so far, for my clients. One master account, as many domains as needed and 25G mailboxes for $2 per month (min $10 monthly fee). DKIM enabled, and they have a nice set of customized instructions for the client which tells them how to set up their outlook, mobile phone, etc. I love not worrying about email now. When I reach a threshold (forgot what it is…) I will qualify for “reseller” status at a discount.
Web hosting is a service that allows organizations and individuals to post a website or web page onto the Internet. A web host, or web hosting service provider, is a business that provides the technologies and services needed for the website or webpage to be viewed in the Internet. Websites are hosted, or stored, on special computers called servers. When Internet users want to view your website, all they need to do is type your website address or domain into their browser. Their computer will then connect to your server and your webpages will be delivered to them through the browser.
We liked how Web Hosting Hub describes its new customer process. They tell new customers, "We walk you through setting up your account in a personal on-boarding call." The company has a few other wins as well. They offer an all-SSD infrastructure, automatic vulnerability patches and a custom firewall, SSH access for certain plans, free site migration and an excellent 90-day money-back guarantee.
Web hosting is the technology that puts your website online. It is one of the three essential components of establishing your Web presence: a domain name (Web address), a website and a Web host. Your domain name tells people where to find you, your website is viewed by your visitors, and hosting makes your site part of the Internet. Quite simply, the definition of Web hosting is an online storage service for any content displayed or accessed through your website. Common examples of stored information include images, video, or design templates. Learn why Web Hosting with Network Solutions is a good choice.

Having a 24×7 operating web host is very important. A web host, operating on a powerful server and stable network connections is what you need and the recommended uptime score is 99.5% and uptime below 99% is unacceptable. There are many ways to obtain a web host uptime info. One way is with server monitor tools which can help you track your web hosting provider. Ask your hosting provider explicit questions with regards to server reliability and uptime scores.
I manage my own domain names with six mailboxes with servermx.com. At the beginning I was reluctant but now after two years I can say they are excellent. Email, Calendar/Task with both my phone and desktop are working very well. I had one problem with Thunderbird an they helped me to fix my config. For my website I use godaddy but maybe I am going to move it, do you have any suggestion?
